MegaMart in Namcheon has Canada Dry ginger ale for 500w/bottle. It's on the shelf with the club soda (also Canada Dry) and tonic water on the hard liquor shelves.

Yay.

There has been Canada Dry in the small green cans (Korean size, 250ml) at Hillside Mart in Dalmaji since I have been in Korea (2 years).

E-Mart in Guseo-Dong has them (Canada Dry ginger ale and club soda in small cans), as well.

Don't forget to mention the crucial phrase: "... for now..."

Stuff like this never lasts, boys and girls. Anybody got a hankering (and for me Dalmaggi's too far away), buy 'em while they're hot.

Tell me about it. Stupid Namcheon Mega Mart - why don't you keep things in stock? Where's the maple syrup at??

And just to prove the point, I visited the Dongnae MM and there was none to be found. I imagine costco customers must go through the same crap.

True, but... if you can't find something they used to stock, ask for it. It may help.

I buy pesto from Mega Mart. Last year or so they had none on 3 or 4 consecutive visits. So I asked a couple of times: Hey, where's the pesto?

The first time I asked I got a "Where's the WHAT?" in reply. But the second time I asked, a courteous staff member, who had no idea what pesto even was, had me write it down on a piece of paper and gave it to her supervisor. The next time I visited, BOOM: pesto. It's there every time I visit now.

Maybe just a coincidence, but still, I think it won't hurt to ask. And have someone write it down because they may not know what it is you want.

Well I think I've asked about the maple syrup at least three times in the past two weeks, so who knows, maybe some will magically appear. Nobody asked me to write down anything though.

Tell you what though, the ladies in the 'interior' section are very good about taking down your number and getting back to you. Just thought I'd give them props. Most of my apartment is decorated/outfitted with stuff from there.
