I'd last been to this place ages ago, right before they closed down (only to re-open again with seemingly the same management), and just last week I gave it another shot.

The verdict; unbelievably bland, especially for Turkish food. The portions were small, service was so-so (considering we were the only two people in the restaurant), and it was a little overpriced. So in other words, nothing's changed since the place originally opened. When you have to add salt and pepper to your meal just to taste something, the gig is up.

I've never eaten in the restaurant, but I dont mind the kebebs from the guy with the cart on the street outside the place.

I've been meaning to post about this for a while but I went back there a few weeks ago and got the beef Bey Kebab and it was absolutely equisite. Really really good. What did you have Greek Freak?
Barney
That place ws hit or miss the first time around as well. I had one good meal, followed by one terrible meal, followed by one bland but acceptable. Looks like nothings changed.

We had the Adana Kebabs, followed by an order of pide; the Adana kebab wasn't bad but as I said earlier, a little lacking in the portion size. The pide was awful--like they had it sitting there for days, reheated it in a microwave, and forgot to add any spices.

Really? It's nice to have the option of them being there, but I would never say I really enjoyed them as such. They are very Koreanized in my opinion (which I am not criticizing because this is Koera) way way to much slightly sweet tomato sauce and coleslaw. Saying that if you ask him to cut down on the sauce and veg they come in as not bad.

By the way a few times recently he has been missing from the corner outside the kebab house near vinyl, but sometimes you might find him on another street, usually the Thursday Party street.

Yeah, the first kebab I got off the street guy was inedible (but it might have been the shock) the second one I got on wednesday night was still terrible but it was ok. Just chicken, cabbage and some sauce rolled up in pita.

Well, I've been there once and didn't find it that bad. I'd also like to add that a Turkish person I know has been there and they liked it. They said that it was the most authentic place in Busan (probably not saying that much) and definitely better than the place in Dushil.

Is it Koreanised? Perhaps it's not westernised enough. I haven't been to Turkey, but a friend who has didn't like the food much at all. They thought it was bland and boring.
Oscar
Went there again last night, they've lowered their prices by about 3 thousand one but the bread and soup are no longer complimentary.
