HI i'm living in busan (jangsan) and looking for large flake oatmeal (non-instant), does anyone know where I can find some??

You can oatmeal. I'm not sure if it's large flake or not.

I, too, prefer the whole-flake Quaker. Its the best for making cookies and I like the texture in porridge. HOWEVER, local suppliers don't buy it at the Army base anymore. They usually get the Quick Quaker or Instant.. I used to be able to get my local Western-goods (Namchon) store to pick up some Old-Fashioned Quaker, but not any more. They just won't get me any! Ask at your store

Use the Quick.. Quick is whole-flake that is cut into fourths to make it cook faster. Avoid the Instant, as it is presteamed and tastes like yukky paste.

I have looked all over Busan and can't find any Old Fashioned, not even in Kukje Shijang. I had to bring a large box home from my vacation in the PHilippines.
