The best in my opinion is still Taco al Pueblo in Hauendae, a little difficult to find if it's your first visit, but good directions, reviews and updates here

Also in Hauendae New Town is this delivery place

http://www.koreabridge.com/forums/index.ph...209&hl=taco

and the Fuzzy Navel range of bars has just opened (or about to open) a place called Fuzzy Taco, no idea what it's like yet, but from the beach look for the Seacloud or Ramada hotel and it's on the street that runs between them.

There's Taco Family in Kyung Sung, nowhere near as good as Taco al Pueblo, but it's ok if you live in the area

Nearby is Tiger Tiger, which was ok when it was the only option, but the aforementioned 'Family' easily beats it for selection and ingredients. But there Japanese / Korean style currys are pretty good

Then in PNU is this place, never been there so no comment

and finally if you fancy making your own at home, try this place

C'mon, are you serious?! They're going with that name?

To paraphrase Michael Scott, Dunder Mifflin Scranton, you can't set me up like that..

The PNU place is still alive and kicking, still in business. Great guy, just don't engage him in too much conversation or he can easily screw up your order.

I just ordered from the latter link this week and, although a bit expensive compared to other places such as Costco and the Asian Marts, it's quick and convenient. Nice to have tomatillo sauce in place of that Pace sh1te. They have much more than just Mexican food products. Naan, pita, curries.

And a big overdue thank you to Matt Sid for providing so much useful information to all, esp in the Food and Eats section wink.gif !

I've eaten at Fuzzy Taco a couple of times now and in spite of the name it's really good. Order the chimichanga.

Cripes, no kidding. Makes you wanna ask if they have any non-Mexican on the menu like fur burger or bearded clam.

Its Fuzzy Navel Tacos which doesn't do much for the name, but the tacos are GREAT! I had the beef and avocado burrito for 9,000 won and it was amazing. I also had the beef quesadilla with a side of guacamole, and it was the same....I highly recommend the place. Much better than Taco Family, Taco Story, and even Tacos al Pueblo.

Whoa Whoa Whoa,

You had the beef quesadilla there and it was "amazing"?? I had it there in January and, although it tasted decent, it was probably the biggest rip off I've ever encountered in Busan. My 'quesadilla' was two folded pieces of shell with filling but each one was roughly the size of a tortilla chip. For this I paid 5500won. I mean, the three of us had to just laugh at the fact that it was so unbelievably pathetic in size. I ate each one in a single bite. Please tell me that you received more than I.

My two friends each had a beef burrito. One was good and the other was crap. His consisted of a lot of lettuce, a few fried onions, very little salsa and maybe two pieces of under spiced beef. I doubt I'll eat there again unless there are a chorus of voices who tell me that I should give it another chance. A single good meal out of three ordered does not endear me to a place.

PS While I think that Tacos al Peubla has gone down in quality since WonTae moved to Seoul for the winter, I still believe it's the best for quality and value in the city. My 2 cents.

Last I heard Won Tae was looking for a location around Kyungsung Dae to open up a second restaurant. Has anyone herd anything about this lately?

The quesadilla, while small, still tasted in my opinion, pretty good. The beef and avocado burrito was amazing for the quality of mexican food you can find here. It was packed full with beef, lettuce, avocado and other fixings. Coupled with a side of guacamole, I was very satisfied.
