Full Version: Where Can I Find Good Coffee?

Does anyone know where I can find a big can of Folger's or Maxwell House coffee in Busan?

It is almost next to impossible to find good and reasonably priced coffee here.

Also, have you noticed that many Korean 'marts' will sell coffee filters but no 'coffee machine' coffee?

Try Kukje market, or if you wanna splurge, Starbucks has many blends/ roasts as well.

I thought you wanted good coffee? I don't know where to get Folgers or Maxwell House but I do know where to get good coffee for a reasonable price. I'll tell you if you admit Mohammed was wrong for marrying a child.

There's a place in Dadaepo that sells good and reasonably priced American coffee. It's called Maxwell's Mart. Find the Family Mart in front of the beach. With your back to the Family Mart, go left. Take the first left and go left again. Two more lefts and find the Family Mart. Go in and ask them if they know Maxwell Smart. They should be able to help you.

I guess you really aren't that hard-pressed for good coffee.

Abby, you silly boy, you can find much better coffee than the ones you mention, and still reasonably priced, at Homeplus, especially at the store near Bexco. Look for the Homeplus brand bags: Colombian, espresso, etc.

Silas, he didn't say please and he didn't admit that Mohammed marrying a child was wrong. Come on, there are no freebies on the PWeb.

Yeah, I kind of regret it now. Was in a kindly mood last night, feeling sorry for the poor uninformed, hapless fellow. Also, as long as their coffee keeps flying off the shelf, there should be a reliable supply... albeit, look what happened recently at Homever in Haeundae (now owned by Tesco-Samsung) with the tea stocks -- apparently they've dropped Whittard teas, the swine. dry.gif

Hey, Abby, you hear that? I think you owe Pweb one, big time!

I agree, for excellent coffee, try the HomePlus Brand..

However, I buy my coffee at the coffee wholesalers at Kukje Market. I can get any flavor (espresso, colombian, mocha, etc.), ground to order, for 1/2 what you pay at LOtte.. I bought a 2 kilo bag of Rosebud Mocha for 26,000 won recently. 1 kilo bags of Maxwell House should be less than 1/2 that.

Directions to the store are pinned at the top of the forum.

My all time favorite coffee is a 1/2 blend of HomePlus expresso and 1/2 Rosebud Mocha.. I brew it very strong and it tastes like hot chocolate
