I haven't found any in a can, but you can get bags of dried chickpeas at the Asian markets in Sasang. There's a store called Asia Mart that I bought mine from. There are directions listed on the forum somewhere in the food and eats section.

Asia Mart in Sasang. I can't recall exact directions from the station, but if you do a search, you'll find spot-on directions. They also have a stack of other goodies for indian and thai dishes.

Megamart definitely has them in a can and I think that both Homever and Home Plus also stock them. In Megamart they are in the foreign foods section.

Yeah, you can get them at Asia Mart. Soak them overnight and then boil them or pressure cook them. My rice cooker has a great pressure cooker setting. However, if you want canned ones (with much more salt and less protein and Omega-3 fatty acids) for whatever reason, you can sometimes find them in the international foods section of Mega Mart in Namcheon-dong. Go to Namcheon station and go out exit three. Go straight for a block or two until you come to the large intersection. There, take a left and go straight toward the water and the bridge. It's a huge store and it'll be on your left. The international foods section is right by the door when you walk in. You can't miss it.
