Does anybody know where to buy some coconut milk here in Pusan?

TIA!

Pretty much everywhere!

MegaMart, Homeplus, Homever all supply it. Usually to be found in the foreign goods section. Although I do remember once in Homever finding a cheaper brand amongst the regular canned goods.

Also Asia Mart in Sa Sang has it, and I would guess some of the smaller foreign goods stores in Jangsang and I would guess Gukje Market.

What do you want to use it for? If it's Thai cooking, you want to head to Homever for ingredients.

Thanks Matt smile.gif It is for Thai cooking, my girlfriend just came to visit for a few months. I could not find it at the Homeplus near my house but they also don't have a foreign food section. I will try the Homever in Seomyeon!

If they don't have it in Seomyeon, the Haeundae branch definitely has all the stuff such as green and red curry paste, fish sauce etc.

The largest selection of spice-paks and coconut milk, etc. is at the Asia Mart. That is their specialty, Asian foods and ingredients.
While you are their, buy their meats. The prices for lamb and beef are a fraction of that of the Korean stores.

Perhaps you want something other than Korean rice for the curry? They got it.

The HomeEver in Seomyeon is disappointing compared to the one in HaeUndae..

Megamart in Namchon has gourmet spice paks as well as coconut milk.

I did a search and found some semi-directions to the Asia Mart. One question, what exit in Sasang station do I take to get there?

Exit 3.

perhaps you didn't find the "specific" directions? try these:

exit to the Sobu Bus Terminal and walk towards the river, Home Plus and E-Mart. When you get to E-Mart, turn right (Sangam Indian Restaurant is on your right,) (you will pass another Indian food market next to the restaurant, but go on) and walk to the next intersection (small, local, "t" type), turn right, walk 15 meters, the market is on your left side. There are three Indian food markets, on three sides of the same large block.
