On the other major Korean teacher's board, it was mentioned that the mod for the Korean Wii is now available.
Hence my question, where can we get this done in Busan? |

I was convinced this question was asked before with regards to the PS2, but can't find anything on a search. What I did find though was someone asking about getting a DVD modded to become multi regional. The process is probably completely different, but the area they recommended could be worth checking out. It's the second hand electronics / home appliances area down by Busan Jin market. I think the stop is Beomil Dong on line 1. Most of the shops are on the side streets that lead off the main road, just walk around and they are pretty easy to find.
By the way what is the "other major Korean teacher's board" ? Dave's? And I'm not being facetious. |

Found that post I was talking about, it's on the old forums. Plenty of suggestions in these two posts, it's for PS2 but I am sure the same places will be able to help you.

Found that post I was talking about, it's on the old forums. Plenty of suggestions in these two posts, it's for PS2 but I am sure the same places will be able to help you. http://www.koreabridge.com/oldforums/index...1034&hl=ps2 http://www.koreabridge.com/oldforums/index...c=90&hl=ps2 You can get a modified nintendo wii in Yongsan station. Not every vendor has modded wii's ask around. I paid 300,000 total for my Korean wii with mod. Also, you can play Mariokart and SSBB and many other English games on a modded Korean wii. Most will work straight up, but for SSBB you need to do the Super Mario Galaxy update, install the twilight hack by using Zelda, then install the homebrew channel. After that install the Homebrew Brower and download Gecko OS straight to your memory card from your wii. You can load Mario Kart and others with Gecko OS and it should work perfectly. Here are the links: Twilight Hack http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Hack Homebrew Channel http://hbc.hackmii.com/ Homebrew Brower http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_apps/Homebrew_Browser Hope that helps. Oh yeah, one more thing. Here's a link that will tell you what all the Korean menus say in English: http://www.sheylara.com/wii/wii_system_set...lation_v1.0.pdf |

Has anyone found a place to get a Wii modded? Seomyeon underground shopping arcade. Walk from Seomyeon towards Bujeon-dong. There are a bunch of stores, one or some might to a mod for you. I bought a pre-modded Wii from the guys are Yu-il (유일). They have a big TV in the front of their store. |
