Hey! I was just wondering how long it takes to get the multiple entry pass on my visa...Do they do it on the spot or do i have to leave my passport there for another 2 weeks? Thanks! Laura

As far as I remember, they do it on the spot while you wait.

I usually just get the multiple at the same time as I get my visa processed. Saves another trip to the office.

Hi, I wonder how much does it cost to get multiple entry VISA? I am student and I need to go back to my country and then back to Pusan to finish my remaining semester.

Is there any paper requirement? For example, proof of my university etc.

thanks for helping.

This one's easy.

A multiple costs 50,000 and a single costs 30,000. And, depending on your nationality, you can even get it online on the Government for Foreigners website. Here are the details. And you can, of course, do it in person at immigration.

It costs 50000WON for multiple pass (복수제입구허가) and 30000WON for single pass application.

Just go to Jungang Dong (중앙동역)Subway and EXIT 10. Walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach the BUSAN IMMIGRATION BUREA. It's on the 2nd floor.

Fill up an one page application form and wait for your number. The process takes about 10minutes at most. Yes, you get your VISA approved on the spot.

This information is up to date as of 23 Nov 2007, the day I went there for my multiple VISA. Hope it helps.

You might not be able to get a multi at the airport. I tried and couldn't, but that was a few years ago...

Yep, you can get a single re-entry at the airport, but you have to go immi if you want the multiple. It's worth the trip to immi for hte multiple if you plan to leave the country more than once. 30,00-single, 50,000-multiple

It's a little tricky to find (just like anything in Busan). As you come down the street from the subway there's a parking lot on the right just before the street bends. At the rear of a parking lot there are two small-ish low-rise buildings, it's the one on the left (not clearly marked busan immigration - actually i think it may have been marked EMIGRATION) There's a little store on the bottom floor, then entrance is to the left of it. Go up the stairs, 2nd floor, go left and voila, yer there.

When I went they were very friendly and the service was good. smile.gif

Is it really tricky to find? I mean it is right next to the International Ocean Terminal. Which seems to be a most appropriate and convenient place. rolleyes.gif

I will have to agree with you that the service is usually good. It has certainly goes through same changes. I can remember that back in 2004, although not my first year here it was when the service was the worst.

Yes, I just got my re-entry yesterday and it was 50,000 and done on the spot while I waited. I seemed to have to be reminded about this every time I renew since I do not get another stamp in my passport like in Fukuoka three years ago. Now this makes me think if I did not get this stamp, there would be nothing current to show for it other than the stamp on my ARC, so what type of visa would I have? Maybe this sounds stupid but I am just wondering if it is not printed then how is one supposed to know?

Also I did find out from the office that they are not open on Saturday mornings like I had been previously thinking. I think that they were at one time, but am not aware of exctly when and why it changed. Now they do have a new telephone number, different from the one shown on my ARC. Saturday morning when I was there a man in an office downstairs did provide with a number for them but when I called could never get anyone to answer. Yesterday when I asked about this, and even dialed it on my mobile to make sure I had the right one, they told me that the woman at that desk is so busy helping others that she cannot always answer.
